New York School of Bartending is licensed by the New York State Education Department.
New York School of Bartending (NYSB) is a short-term, hands-on program that can
be completed in 40 hours over one or two weeks.
NYSB offers two classes a day to accommodate your schedule. There are morning
classes which run from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. and evening classes which run from 6:00
P.M. to 10:00 P.M. All classes run Monday thru Friday.
During the two weeks of training, students learn how to prepare 200 drink variations.
The drinks range from the traditional to the most popular and trendy drinks in
the industry.
NYSB has a fully equipped classroom which
resembles an actual bar. Students spend approximately 75 percent of their time
preparing their drinks and practicing their bartending skills. The other 25 percent
is spent during lecture time where instructors prepare and explain each and every
drink.
The objective of the program is to have students obtain the proper skills to
seek employment and perform the functions of a professional
bartender in any establishment in the country in a successful and efficient manner.
